actiCAP is one of the most widely used active electrode EEG systems in neuroscience research. By integrating an impedance matching circuit directly at the electrode, actiCAP reduces susceptibility to environmental noise and improves signal quality, even in demanding experimental settings. Researchers benefit from faster preparation, greater recording stability, and flexible configurations suitable for ERP, cognitive neuroscience, mobile EEG, and multimodal research.
Additionally, the low profile (6 mm) of the actiCAP slim makes it ideal for EEG-TMS applications. This allows positioning of the stimulator coil very closely to the head, resulting in minimal loss of TMS pulse power. Combining actiCAP slim with our high sampling rate actiCHamp amplifier, will give you the benefit of ultra-short artifacts.
